It's the return of the: "Ah, wait, no way, you're kidding. He didn't just say what I think he did, did he?"

Picklocking this door is taking a bit longer than expected. It seems like they might've added a few extra security subroutines, or took a few away. I can't tell at this point. The shift suddenly shifts.
"Sir, that felt like..."
"Yep. Stand back."
I adjust the phaser settings to.... idk max? and I fire at the door.
In a few seconds, the door was completely disintegrated.
The second it disintigrates, everything turns white.
I eye the area a bit, I take a few feet forward to see if anything changes or happens, nothing. No incline, decline, breeze, nothing. I tap my comm badge to see if it still works. It gives a slowed, strained, groaning chirp beep of the communicator.
A voice picks up.
A very distinctive voice.
One which would give the same feeling as scratching chalkboard, or similar.
As he let's out a groan/sigh of distaste? Q says,"Bonjour, mon am. I am..."
"Q."
"Q! Yes... I have..."
"Abducted me to play in your continuums little game. Its a wonder how your species even managed to survive this long, honestly. Acting like children, with an education level reflecting as such. Now, send me back so I can apprehend those criminals."
"Unfortunately, they've already been dealt with. Fortunately, you've been sent to apprehend your Commander Winters. Or save him."
"And why would I even remotely give a flying walnut about some Starfleet dog."
"Because, doing so could benefit you greatly. And you have no choice in the matter. Toodle doo." Q snaps his fingers, and appears right behind Winters. His arm is heavier than usual. He looks to it. A galling phaser? I try switching it back to his arm phaser, but its not working. Q's voice pops in my head. "I wouldn't bother trying to change it back now. It seemed like you wanted everyone to know you've got... whatever that is."
"Damn Q!", I angrily state, startling the Commander and the Leutenant.
