Phaser in the ready room

Lt Kronnelti and Capt Michael Intermezzo are sitting down in the ready room, Kronnelti lays the modified phaser down on the table. Sir I found this on the suspect I shot, I had an ensgin bring him down to the brig.

Good job said the Capt, then several knocks on the door Come in said Michael. It's the security team that was sent to investigate the phaser fire.... Kronnelti explained the situation but told the team they did a good job reacting when they did.

Commander Rodale was hit with this but was unsuccessful in killing her and I believe this is why we couldn't pick up any red alerts until I fired mine, the Capt rubs his chin....ok we need to get down to what is going on.
