We've finally gotten Ensign Jackson out, with only T'Chaiken and Bungaba left in intensive care. Although there were burns throughout the ship, they were the only ones with long term injuries. We've spent the last couple hours cleaning up the bay to await the next inevitable disaster. I've been here for only a couple weeks, and I've already come to understand that this kind of stuff is regular for Starfleet. Some of the ensigns were holding bets on which Starfleet classic mission we would fall into. Jefferson somehow got me to bet 13 days of using the lower grade food replicators on our next mission being a Wild West adaption. I just hope that it's not some virus that turns us into lizards.

A sudden crash boomed through the ship. The ship began to shake. Sheela began to feel nauseous as the world spun in front of her eyes. Her vision dimmed. She began to feel as if she was being pushed through a tight rubber tube, accompanied by horrid screeching sounds, coming from the engine presumably. Her eyes began to feel like they were about to pop, as suddenly it stopped, and she collapsed to her knees.

Around her, the half a dozen other officers had resembling looks of pain. Before they could exchange more than a few comments, the intercom turned on, and the voice of the captain announced “We’re in the mirror universe. Take us to yellow alert and start scanning the immediate area. Get ready for anything"

As the realisation of what had happened began to sink in, Lieutenant Jalkayœos grunted happily. He wouldn't have to clean the holodeck for two weeks.
