Mission: Trial by Fire
Location: Finchley Kerr's quarters, USS Chuck Norris
Timeline: Current.

Finchley entered his quarters and said "Computer, seal this room, stop all recordings and sensor readings, authorisation Kerr Alpha two one six Epsilon."

==^==Room sealed, all recordings stopped and sensors reading stopped==^==

"Open a secure channel to Starfleet Intelligence, department Zulu, authorisation Kerr Bravo Bravo Indigo eight two two ...Black" he continued.

There was a pause for a couple of seconds, the the computer replied ==^==Secure channel authorised, now open==^==

"This is Green Wing, are we secure" Finchley asked.

"Green Wing, this is Dara, we're secure" came the reply.

"Dara, I need any information you have regarding Romulan activity in and around the USS Chuck Norris' last mission. They ran interference and were heavily involved against the Chuck Norris resulting in there being a loss of life to the crew" Finchley said.

Again there was a pause, then a reply came back "Green Wing, you know protocol means I can't give you al..." they began.

"Dara, don't give me that bullshit, you know who I am, and you know what clearance I have!" Finchley interjected "Give me all the bloody information I need, and do it now."

"Protocols are there to ensure those who..." they began again.

"Dara, Purple Squad, authorisation Kilo six, one, one...kill!" Finchley replied, trying his level best to keep a calm manor.

"You...you're still Purple Squad?" they asked.

"Dara, you know what that directive means, and there's no recall once it starts, it's followed through to completion" Finchley said "I suggest you give me the the information I asked about."

There was what sounded like a flurry of movement, then they said "The information we have is that the Romulans are looking for a member of Starfleet with 'unique' insight and information and they've traced him to where the USS Chuck Norris was in it's last mission, they were to target the ship and find out where Starfleet member was and capture him...at all cost, that's everything we have."

"There Dara, that wasn't so difficult after all, was it?" Finchley asked rhetorically "thanks you for your time and the information, Green Wing out" he finished, closing the link.

"Computer, close secure channel, unseal the room and begin normal recording and sensors readings" Finchley said.

This was going to make for an interesting discussion with the Captain, to see what happens next Finchley thought to himself, then left his quarters again.
