Mission: The Game is Afoot
Location: Starbase 10, U.S.S. Chuck Norris
Timeline: Current

OFF: Alright, we hand an interesting afternoon, but we will take this post as the trying to put everything back in order.

ON: (U.S.S. Chuck Norris - Bridge)

Ensign Pibb sat silently in the Command chair of the bridge. His eyes darted back and forth from each display as he registered the information. It was quite a weird turn to both have that trickster Q show up, and equally disappear. He was thankful for the cloaking device, and that then omnipotent being was able to install it correctly. However now that the Chuck Norris was on course to his hiding location, and the action had settled, there were more questions and thoughts to be had. Ryoko had taken control of the helm, as he knew as well as Pibb where they were going.

"Time until we reach the Nebula in Gambit System?" Pibb asked.

Ryoko was quick in his response, keeping track of their distance very carefully. "4 hours, 21 minutes".

"Good, and the U.S.S. Thunderchild... is she still pursuing us?"

"No sit, it seemed that once we cloaked and changed course, they kept following our previous course."

"Also, good for us." Pibb took a moment before realizing that he had to address the crew, as most of them were probably unaware of what had just happened and were merely following protocols. His hands glided over the console until he reached the comm panel, and within a few punches he was broadcasting ship wide. "This is Ensign Pibb, by now some of you may have realized that we left Starbase 10 a little more hastily than normal. You should know that as of now, we are fugitives of the federation. The Captain, he was arrested on unjust charges, and his life may have been in jeopardy. It is for that reason we rescued him and have fled. Now some of you may not agree with me. If you choose you may spend the remember of our time in your own quarters. I will make a note in the log so you will not be prosecuted when we return. All others, if you feel the loyaltyqewasasasasas to the Captain as I do, remain at your stations. Pibb out." He could sense the tension that was going through the ship. Within a few minutes he saw no objections or any reports of crew heading to their cabins.

=/\= Sickbay to Bridge =/\=

"Pibb here, what is it Doctor Ramsey"

=/\= I just wanted to give you an update on Lt. Collier =/\=

"Update...?" Pibb was confused for a moment as he scanned the faces of everyone on the bridge. "I thought he had committed suicide in the brig?"

=/\= That was just the inexperience of a new security officer, although I could see how he could make that mistake. That virus that Collier had, well it was never cured, and it made one last surge throughout his body. My scans would indicate that the stress of being in the brig as well as that transport rendered him unconscious. =/\=

"But I thought there was blood, a lot of blood." Pibb cocked his head.

=/\= That is why the security officer made the mistake, the virus on the way out took a heavy toll on his internal organs, and the poor man probably vomited a few liters of his blood. It was for that reason I think the young security officer mistake. He himself passed out just after your conversation. However they are both in stable condition right now, by Lt. Collier may still be out of action for almost half a day while I fix him up =/\=

"Thank you doctor, keep my up to date." Pibb closed the Comm line.

"That virus must have been still making him act like that when he entered the bridge." Commander Borġ added, "Judging from my observations."

"Interesting... well you could run some more tests on the doctors scans. Maybe get some more information." Pibb turned at the sound of the ready room door opening, with Captain vonMcCormick was now standing in front of the senior staff, ready to address them.

At the same time Ensign Wyatt slid in to the back of the bridge, not noticed as he and the Captain entered at the same time. Wyatt looked around, deciding on his next course of action.

(Starbase 10 - Operations Centre)

"Sir, report coming in from the Thunderchild, they have lost all traces of the Chuck Norris." an ops officer reported.

"Damn..." Admiral Yoshimeyer slammed his fist down. Taking a moment to again regain his composure and consulting the star charts and ship deployment. "Get the U.S.S. Sutherland to go in and support the Thunderchild. They have an advance sensor pod attached and can do a more thorough task of scanning the sector."

"Yes sir." There was a moment of pause, "Sutherland has responded and is on route, ETA 1 hour 9 minutes."

"Good, now is there anything else I should know at this present moment?" The Admiral called out, half expecting silence when another Orion ops officer spoke up.

"Well, the two Ferengi D'Kora class ships are requesting to dock. Those 3 freighters are still a half a day away"

"Well..." The Admiral sighed, "They have not shown any aggressive posturing, so I have no reason to deny them. However have them dock at one of the outer ports. Keep them contained until I can ascertain to what their motives may be."

"What about us?" Commander Winters spoke up, as he gestured to himself and Lieutenants G'ginloss.

The Admiral thought for a minute, "Well I can't let you leave the station, but you're not under arrest. Tell you what Commander, I want you, and your Lt. here and greet our visitors. We are a little short staffed, and might be a way to earn back a little of that trust that was lost when your ship made such a speedy getaway."

"Greet them?" G'ginloss sounded confused.

"Look, I am going to have my hands full trying to locate the Chuck Norris and Captain vonMcCormick. I don't have that many high ranking officers here, so Commander, I think you, your Lt. and my Lt. Commander will make a nice welcome wagon for them. At least show them a little show of force that we are not be trifled with. Those two ships and those freighters are now on my radar."
Lt. Cmdr Hudson, Chief of Security for Starbase 10 walked back up and stood with the two men.

"Shall we?" He said, sounding a little irritated.

"After you." Again, Winters was on his gesturing game as he motioned for Hudson to lead the way.

OFF: There, that should right things back up, expand and leave more avenues open, let's expand on it and have fun.
