The waiting game.

This wait is killing me.

I still have to meet the captain and orders still have not yet arrived. I took a quick look at my new lab, a small one compared to the one that we had on the Callisto and the Enterprise but at least this is all mine!

I managed to talk to Chiara, she’s doing fine and actually keeping herself occupied with some restoration work that she was doing on a 6000 year, as she claimed, old Andorian pottery. The baby still kicking but at least all is fine.

Now, will try to go around the ship until Captain vonMcCormick calls for me. I still wonder what a Defiant-class ship needs me for!
