All hands this is the Captain, please welcome aboard the newest crewmembers on the Chuck Norris:

Ensign Chip Assistant Chief Security/Tactical Officer.

Welcome Chip, please feel free to jump in with a mission post or log at your leisure.
To the rest of the crew, please help me welcome them and make them feel at home here on the Chuck Norris. For the purposes of the plot, we will assume Chip boarded the Chuck Norris before it left Starbase 10.
